June Minutes:

A motion was made by Lena to accept the minutes as presented, motion was seconded by Rick, motion carried.

Financial Report:

It was reported that the annual insurance came in $500.00 cheaper than budgeted. A motion was made by George to accept the financial report as presented, motion was seconded by Nolan, motion carried.

Annual Financial Report:

A copy of the Audited Annual Financial Report for the period ending 12/31/07 was passed out.

A motion was made by Lena to accept the financial report as presented, motion was seconded by George, motion carried.

Director of Operations Report:

Update for Neighborhood Night Out:
The grill for the Neighborhood night, and subsequently for the clubhouse, was purchased and put together. It was discussed that a storage shed would be needed to store the grill. Rick estimated that it would cost less than $100 to build.

Survey of the pool: Rick conducted a survey of residents using the pool. The ongoing theme is that people would like a new second pool that would be funded by fundraisers. Rick’s idea was to raffle off annual dues, maybe a one-year exemption. It was also discussed to do a craft show. Rick is visiting with attorney about legality of a raffle. The board would also need to develop a list of ideas.

Letters were sent to homeowners who still owe their homeowners dues. The case of Muhammad Hajjali was discussed. A motion was made by Ben to reduce the penalty for Mr. Hajjali to cover the fees incurred by the association, motion was seconded by Nolan, motion failed.

A motion was made by George to accept the Director of Operations Report, motion was seconded by Ben, motion carried.

Committee Report:

Webpage: Nolan said the webpage is current. In the future, if we incur problems with the website, it is best to notify Nolan by email.

Old Business:

Ben Kirby attended the June city council meeting representing the homeowner’s association for Jason Walker. There were no deed restrictions on the property Jason Walker visited about.

New Business:

The sprinkler set-up by the retention pond is not working properly. Ben wanted permission to look at it, permission was granted.

It was discussed that a fee should be charged for the clubhouse rental. It appears that many of the homeowner’s were violating the rules. It was agreed to table the discussion.

Homeowner Concerns:

There was no homeowner concerns presented.

With no further business, motion was made by Ben that the meeting be adjourned. Motion was seconded by Rick. Motion carried.
