Financial News
Financal Planning Committee
The Board of Directors voted at the July 13th meeting to create a committee that will be tasked with creating 1-year and 5-year plans. The goal is to provide guidance for the Board in planning for future projects while preparing budgets. The committee will need to be filled with volunteers. If you would like to serve on the committee, please email the office with your interest. If you cannot serve, but have ideas for improvements, please email your ideas as well.
Audit Report
The audit of years 2008-2009 is ongoing, with completion expected in August. The auditor will present his report to the Board at the September Board meeting.
Planned Projects
Restroom Improvements
The restrooms are scheduled to have improved ventilation and flooring. Currently, there is no ventilation provided, which prevents the floors from drying. Plans are to open vents or install fans to
improve airflow.
The floor areas that are gray will either be repainted or tiled.
Playground Improvements
The volleyball net has been relocated to an area that is flat. The aluminum poles have been replaced with steel poles, and a crank installed to allow the net to be tightened properly.
If you would like sand added to the volleyball court, please email the office. If there is sufficent interest, this will be done in the spring.
A tetherball pole will be installed in the old volleyball location.
Message from the Board
The Board of Directors would like to thank the former Directors for their service. We would also like to thank the members that have expressed thoughts and ideas for improvements.
As we move forward, the board would like to maintain, and improve, the amenities that we have available. It is our goal to provide a clean, safe, and fun experience for the families in our neighborhood that use our faclities.
We are committed to keeping our annual dues at the same level. This requires thoughtful consideration of expenditures, and careful planning for the future.
Please come to the monthly meetings if your schedule permits. We, the Board members, are also homeowners, and value each person’s input toward keeping our neighborhood and nice and inviting place to live.
Thank you.
The Board of Directors
